Our team consisted of eight members including two artists, one game designer, and five programmers.I worked as a network and gameplay developer. We set a goal to have particularly robust code in terms of latency presence to ensure a playable prototype under any conditions. Thus, we implemented many latency correction mechanisms (client prediction, interpolation, etc.). A major part of my job was to implement systems and features, known as ‘low level,’ which were fully configurable, and I would then hand them over to another programmer or the game designer for implementation in the game.
In the second part, I worked on navigable interface elements like menus, options, and the shop to implement complete game control via controller.
